Deputy Development Team Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and highly motivated individual to contribute to the transformation and innovation within our wide range of learning and teaching spaces. They will be responsible for leading a team of Project Managers through a large number of Audio-Visual installation projects across one of the most challenging teaching estates in UK Higher Education.

The Opportunity:

The delivery of a wide range of high-profile, high-pressure Audio-Visual installation projects with often tight timescales requires both attention to detail and vision to create solutions that can improve the student and staff experience both now and into the future. The successful delivery of these projects is crucial to the on-campus student and staff experience.

As Deputy Development Team manager, you will be responsible for team of 4 AV Project Managers, working on a wide scale programme of work around the value of £1m per annum.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• In depth knowledge of AV technology, equipment specification and system design, with a practical ability to use this knowledge to consistently deliver effective AV solutions
• A strong team leader with experience of managing staff
• Flexible and diplomatic with proven negotiating skills, and able to work under pressure
• AutoCad/CAD Drawing
