Communication Engagement Manager (NJR)
Location: UK, home-based
Are you seeking an exciting new opportunity to help drive communications activity within a vital healthcare organisation? Would you value the chance to be part of a new stakeholder engagement function?.......if so, we would love to hear from you.
The mission of the National Joint Registry is to collect and analyse high quality and relevant data about joint replacement surgery in order to provide timely warnings of issues relating to patient safety. In a continuous drive to improve patient outcomes and to ensure the quality and value of joint replacement surgery, we will monitor and report on outcomes, and enable and support related orthopaedic research. The NJR is the largest orthopaedic and one of the most influential healthcare registries in the world with a significant international profile. It is managed by the NJR Steering Committee, designated as an NHS England ‘expert committee’ and reports through the NJR Chairman to NHS England.
The Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) hosts the National Joint Registry which is managed as a separate entity. HQIP is an independent organisation established to promote quality in healthcare and in particular to increase the impact that clinical audit has on health care improvement. HQIP manages NHS clinical work programmes on behalf of NHS England and other devolved nations. This includes the National Clinical Audit & Patient Outcome Programme (NCAPOP) which consists of over forty National Clinical Audits and clinical outcome review programmes. We are supported by three parent organisations: the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges, The Royal College of Nursing and National Voices.
