- £37467 to £50296 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

We are looking for an Assistant Professor whose expertise lies in Sustainability and Sustainable Construction and welcome applications from well qualified individuals with the ability to teach all aspects of Sustainability and Sustainable Construction in our Civil Engineering programmes. Experience in and the ability to teach Construction Management is also essential.
This post is available on a research and teaching basis.
You will be able to carry out the academic duties to the highest standard and to evidence how, through your personal experience and background, you will be able to:
- Plan and deliver high quality taught modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Sustainability and Sustainable Construction
- Supervise final year UG & PG students
- Conduct your own original research and supervise researchers
- Create a bold strategy for your research and show how it will benefit from, and bring benefit to, interaction with your colleagues
