Salary: £40,521 to £56,021 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor in Banking and Financial Technology (FinTech) based in the Finance, Risk and Banking Department of Nottingham University Business School. The candidate appointed will be expected to engage in high quality research and contribute to teaching finance, risk and banking modules across the range of programmes offered by the School at all levels. Appointed candidates will also be required to make an appropriate contribution to administration.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area, or be close to completion, together with previous teaching experience in relevant subjects at HE level. Research interests and a publication record in relevant areas are also required. Candidates should have the ability to develop their own research area, the flexibility to collaborate with colleagues and the ability to work well in a team.
This is a full time (36.25 hours per week), permanent post, however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part-time and the number of preferred hours.
