ETH Zurich's Chair of Logistics Management within the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics, and under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Stephan M. Wagner, strives to shape the theory and practice of supply chain management in the commercial and humanitarian sector.

Project background

The task is the maintenance of the website of ETH’s chair of logistics management.


Job description

The student assistant will be responsible for updating the website of ETH’s chair of logistics management with current news and project updates while ensuring that its format supports easy access and clear messaging.

Specific tasks will include:

  • Working with members of the chair to list new publications, projects, and awards
  • Design improvements where appropriate
  • Ensuring that the list of members of the chair is up to date and alumni are correctly referenced
  • Clearly structure specialty areas like Teaching, Research, HumOSCM Lab
  • Update project reports and announcement of results
  • Create cross-linkages to related news sources or websites
  • Support user-friendliness and clarity of communications

Your profile

Technical competence with ETH’s web-based tools and social media accounts will be required. Support from the IT department is available to initially develop these skills. Since the website design is stable, maintenance work will consist of routine tasks like uploading new files, or modifying outdated content to reflect the current state.

Your profile:

  • You are a matriculated student at the ETH Zurich or University of Zurich 
  • Basic technical skills in website maintenance and social media, or interest in developing these
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Timely completion of tasks
  • Interest in logistics and supply chain is not a must, but helpful
