Student Research Assistants in Animal Nutrition

We currently have several ongoing in vitro and animal projects related to the following topics:

  • Dietary interventions to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions (methane and nitrogen) from dairy cows
  • Amino acid requirements, nitrogen efficiency, and energy x protein interactions in dairy cows
  • Precision livestock technology (wearable sensors and computer vision), including data science and modeling work with the goal to improve animal welfare

We are looking for Student Research Assistants in Animal Nutrition starting as soon as possible.


Job description

In this position, you will be assisting post-doctoral researchers and doctoral students in preparations for experiments and sample collection. In addition, you will sample collection during animal experiments (may require LTK20 certificate) and in vitro experiments. Furthermore, you will sample processing and laboratory analysis. Data processing and analysis will be another part of this postion.


Your profile
  • You must be a student at ETH Zurich 
  • You must have a good command of English 
  • You must have a good knowledge and understanding of animal nutrition
