SENIOR RESEARCH AND TEACHING ASSOCIATE (POSTDOC) WITH A FOCUS ON INTERNET USE AND SOCIETY
80 %
  • 2-year position, renewable (80%, paid according to cantonal salary scheme)
  • In-person work in Zurich, Switzerland

Your responsibilities
  • Conduct and publish high-quality empirical research on Internet use and society
  • Teach one seminar or lecture each semester at the BA or MA level, supervise some MA theses, participate in mentoring PhD candidates in the group
  • Regularly interact with other team members both online and in person
  • Perform minor organizational tasks

Your profile
  • Ph.D. in communication studies, sociology, or other social science field by start of employment
  • Experience publishing empirical research
  • Excellent research skills
  • An interest in developing your teaching skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
