Your mission :

The PASU lab is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to help build up its research capacity.


We are particularly interested in individuals with outstanding technical skills and who are interested in some of the lab’s core research areas. This includes energy (energy access, energy and economic development, clean energy transition, energy policy, cooking tech) and the environment (climate policy, green jobs, labor markets, etc.).


Main duties and responsibilities include :
- Participate to ongoing research projects (see pasu.epfl.ch for examples).
- Help launch new research projects
- Conduct your own research
- If applicable: support junior researchers (PhD students, MSc students, etc.) or the lab’s teaching mission.

Your profile :
- PhD in economics, public policy, political science, computational social science, computer science, or engineering.
- An interest in conducting research on sustainability (broadly defined).
- Outstanding publications and/or a strong pipeline of high-quality research.
- Strong skills in causal inference and/or computational methods (ML, etc.)
- Proficiency in English, ability to take initiative, good team spirit. (French is not required.)
