Your mission :

Your work consists of supporting the development of EPFL’s robotics community and the Swiss robotics ecosystem in general. This includes working closely with all robotics laboratories and championing their development and promotion, supporting the

robotics educational

and equal opportunities programs and activities and driving the growth of the Swiss Robotics Community through the implementation of the

Innovation Booster in robotics

and the

Swiss robotics days

.


Main duties and responsibilities include :
In collaboration with EPFL robotics laboratories, the robotics masters and doctoral programs, the Innovation Booster in robotics, and the Center for Intelligent Systems, you will:
● Streamline technology transfer and promotion efforts by organizing robotics laboratory visits and demonstrations to industry, media and funders.
● Support the development of EPFL’s robotics master’s and doctoral programs, including screening of student applications, communication and equal opportunities aspects.
● Contribute to the organization, management and running of activities of the Innovation Booster (IB)
● Support the expansion of the IB on Robotics program, including through fundraising and networking
● Contribute to the organization of the annual Swiss Robotics Day and other key events in Switzerland, as well as contribute to the establishment of a Swiss Robotics Association


Your profile :

You hold an education degree in robotics and/or have extensive experience in robotics-related activities. You have experience in leading multi-disciplinary projects and acting in a horizontal leadership role. The qualities we are looking for are:

● excellent knowledge of robotics and ability to translate to various audiences
● experience working with or in industry and managing technology transfer aspects
● excellent communication, event organization and presentation skills
● knowledge of trends and challenges in educational programs
● familiarity with Swiss/Worldwide robotics ecosystem
● excellent mastery of written and spoken English (in addition, French and German are an advantage)
● proactiveness and autonomy
● experience in fundraising is an advantage
