We are looking for a research assistant with experience in molecular biology techniques to assist the completion of two projects in the field of energetic metabolism and adipose tissue biology to join the Verdeguer Lab at the Department of Molecular Mechanisms of Disease.
Your responsibilities
Molecular biology: cloning, PCR, quantitative qPCR.
Protein Biochemistry: protein extraction from cells and tissues, SDS-PAGE and Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation.
Cell culture: culture and maintenance of cell lines, plasmid transfection, viral transduction.
LTK1 animal experimentation license.
Your profile
We expect a responsible, problem-solving, and flexible person to perform independently the assigned tasks. Conceptually understand the biological aim of the experiments and integrate the team's vision. Able to work under time-pressure. A Good English communication is required.
