The Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB) is seeking a highly motivated researcher with an outstanding track record for an endowed Platform Leader position in Protein Engineering.

IOB is a world leading international biomedical research center, associated with the University of Basel, which combines basic and clinical research (www.iob.ch ). IOB's mission is to understand vision, the eye and its diseases and develop new therapies for vision loss. At IOB, PhD students, postdocs, physicians, and staff scientists in both basic and clinical research work closely together to accomplish IOB's mission. IOB's research platforms and groups are endowed with internal funding and have access to IOB's technology platforms including single-cell sequencing, high throughput organoid production, data science, viral vector production, imaging, physiology, human tissue bank, and animal facilities.
