The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for an
Professorship in Insurance and Digital Transformation (all levels)
The position is available starting in the Fall of 2023 or as per agreement. Candidates should have an excellent track record of theoretical / empirical / quantitative research related to the application of finance to insurance with a focus on the impact of the digital transformation to insurance, as well as strong teaching skills on all levels (undergraduate, graduate, PhD). Candidates are expected to have published and to be engaged in internationally highly recognized academic journals dealing with the afore mentioned and related topics.
The professorship will become an active part within the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Zurich. The successful candidate is expected to take on teaching responsibilities at different levels, including the Doctoral Program in Finance and the Master of Arts in Finance. The teaching language will be German or English. The performance evaluation will be undertaken in line with DORA and the Open Science Policy of the University of Zurich.
