The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel invites applications for a Professorship in Finance and Financial Economics (Associate or Full Professorship) to begin on August 1, 2023 or by appointment.


Your position
The Faculty of Business and Economics is fostering a collaborative research environment to constantly increase the Faculty's visibility and reputation as a leading institution in the fields of economics and business. The holder of this professorship is expected to contribute to the faculty's success with ongoing excellence in research, promotion of young researchers and commitment to teaching. Teaching is expected at the Bachelor's and Master's level in the areas of Finance and Financial Economics as well as in the faculty's doctoral program. Teaching may be carried out in English.


Your profile
We seek to fill this position with candidates who have an excellent research and publication record and broad teaching experience in Finance and Financial Economics.
