The English department of the University of Basel invites applications for a

Lecturer in English Linguistics

to teach students of English in linguistics at the BA and MA level.

We are looking for an enthusiastic scholar with a PhD in Linguistics or English and relevant teaching and research experience at university level. You will join our vivid and research active department and collaborate with colleagues in linguistics (http://engsem.unibas.ch/ ).

The teaching load is four 2-hour courses per term.

The starting date is August 1, 2022. The contract is limited to three years.
