The administrative department of Educational Development and Technology (LET), as part of the rectorate of ETH Zurich, provides faculty development, services, and consulting in support of the institute's teaching mission. It fosters innovation in higher education through the exploration of digital technologies and media.

LET maintains and develops a variety of software tools for education, which are used by students at ETH Zurich and other universities. 


Job description

You will be engaged in specific software development projects, according to your skills and interests. Projects include Moodle plugins, the Safe Exam Browser suite, and the teaching and learning application EduApp . New projects also come in through ETH's Innovedum program, for example, assistance in the development of Jupyter notebooks.


Your profile

You are studying Computer Science or Software Engineering and are willing to learn new programming languages or environments. You have good communication skills in English.

Work times and locations are flexible, but you will not work in isolation. Depending on the project, you will work with senior IT staff, project managers, accessibility specialists, or faculty members to advance your project.
