The vice presidency brings together the Sustainability teams, the Equality Office and the lead of the Trust and Support Network.

Your mission :
To strengthen the EDI team, the vice presidency is looking for a Project Manager. The person will be responsible for coordinating and implementing cross-functional institutional policies and EDI-related projects in support to the Head of the unit.


Main duties and responsibilities include :
  • Support the coordination and development of an institutional approach to inclusion and accessibility, and support the development of sectorial guidelines with specialised units, among which HR; Communication unit; Doctoral School; Construction and Buildings; etc..
  • Ensure the development, together with specialized units, of adapted training and awareness-raising measures.
  • Participate in the establishment of the EPFL EDI action plan for 2025-2028 and ensure its coordinated implementation, together with relevant central services, schools and teaching units.
  • Ensure internal and external communication on the implementation of the action plan.
  • Participate in relevant networks and benchlearning on accessibility and inclusion with other universities and institutions.
  • Support the involvement of practice experts in consultation or test phase of processes and developments.
  • Be a driving force in a perspective of social sustainability.
  • Participate and potentially lead other projects and activities

Your profile :
  • University degree (Masters) with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Experience in transversal project management
  • Good knowledge of the academic environment
  • Experience in developing training activities on issues related to equality and inclusion
  • Language skills: French and English imperative, German an asset
  • Resourceful, flexible, autonomous, and proactive
  • Resilience and good self-management skills
