Role Requirements:
• PhD in immunology, renal biology, or a related discipline (PhD students in the last year of their thesis work are eligible to apply).
• Knowledge of pathophysiology of autoimmune and inflammatory glomerular diseases, especially around the role of pathogenic autoantibodies in disease i.e. expert in B cell biology, immune complex mediated renal diseases, autoantibody mediated effector function and inflammatory pathways in renal diseases.
• Strong expertise in primary human immune cell culture, in vitro assays (flow cytometer, ELISA, ELISPOT, imaging), and molecular biology.
• Proficiency in single cell techniques, and organoid technologies is desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
• Strong publication record or other scientific achievements (i.e. awards, patents, grants)
• Excellent analytical & data interpretation , communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Passion for fundamental exploratory research and boundless curiosity
