Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our industry team as a Customer Success Coordinator. You will be the driving force behind identifying, coordinating, and leveraging the successes of our affiliated start-ups and selected corporate members. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success Manager, affiliated startups and corporate members to create mutual opportunities and ensure satisfaction within the ETH AI Center community. 

As a Customer Success Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding our ecosystem of corporate members and emerging startups. Your mission will be to foster their success stories and maximize the visibility of these within and beyond the ETH AI Center community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse network of 30+ affiliated startups and selected industry partners, creating meaningful links that can accelerate their growth and success.
• Devise and implement processes that allow for collecting, prioritizing and leveraging potential affiliated startups success stories in a scalable manner.
• Curate and broadcast success stories, showcasing the achievements and advancements of our startup community with respect to ETH AI Center stakeholders (e.g. industry partners, Faculty members) through various channels, celebrating their milestones and promoting their stories.
• Actively bring new corporate leads to the industry team and identify affiliated startups’ needs to the entrepreneurship team. 
• Proactively identify new opportunities for the ETH AI Center to leverage customer assets and ETH AI Center assets to create value and win-win situations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with the ETH AI Center management team as well as industry, entrepreneurship, and Talent Kick teams on key strategic initiatives, providing valuable insights and support.
• Initiate and develop scalable business projects in line with existing ETH AI Center projects, ensuring value for both existing and prospective partners, fostering long-term collaborations and growth.

Your profile

Qualifications

• Ability to manage a customer portfolio and effectively prioritize your time based on customer needs, business goals and opportunities.
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of building rapport with entrepreneurs, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Multi-stakeholder project management skills with a strong drive to create win-win situations
• Ability to identify potential success stories and drive them in agreement with the involved parties (e.g. a corporate together with an affiliated startup) to a published status.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to think creatively and strategically to identify new opportunities for startup growth and collaboration with industry partners.

Requirements

• A university degree (ideally Master or PhD) with exposure to AI topics
• Previous work experience in a similar role at the intersection of academia, startups and industry partners, with a portfolio demonstrating successful partnership development.
• Operational work experience from a renowned international VC or other startup investment company.
• A profound enthusiasm for the application of AI in the industrial sphere and a vested interest in the bidirectional transfer of knowledge between academia and industry.
• Persistence, drive, and great self-organization skills, a creative and innovative spirit that recognizes and implements opportunities 
• A communicative, flexible, independent and reliable personality with excellent networking and stakeholder management skills
