You will join the Site and Civil Engineering (SCE) Department to participate in the maintenance, operation and consolidation of buildings and infrastructures, with a strong focus on sewerage, service networks and roads activities on the CERN sites.

Functions

As a worksite technician, you will:

  • Collect, prioritize and process work requests from users and managers related to the sewerage, services and road networks;
  • Contribute to projects in the design and execution phases until reception by the users;
  • Plan, coordinate and execute renovations, new and repair projects in your areas of expertise;
  • Oversee and monitor the work by verifying safety, cost, quantities, quality and schedule compliance with applicable norms, procedures and regulations;
  • Contribute to technical documents elaboration for invitations to tender or calls of tender in agreement with all the CERN departments concerned;
  • Manage and improve existing service and frame contracts (quality/cost/delay);
  • Periodically document and report on your activities.
