Business Development Intern

We are on a mission to democratize precision agriculture and make sustainable practices a reality for farms of any size and type. To this end, our lab developed a prototype of a decision support system to help farmers manage their fertiliser efficiently to maximize yields while minimising emissions.  Your role as an intern is to conduct market research and identify potential business models and customers to validate the commercial viability of the prototype, ensuring that our innovative solution aligns seamlessly with the needs and preferences of our target audience.


Job description

This is a part-time role for a Business Development Intern. A successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and prospecting new customers
  • Maintaining a database of potential customers
  • Following up with leads
  • Conducting market research generating new business opportunities

The role location is flexible, with some work-from-home available.


Your profile

The candidate must be a student, preferably resident in Switzerland.

  • Obtained or pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Analytical and Communication Skills.
  • Knowledge of Market Research process is required.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop business proposals.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and priorities.
  • Experience in Lead Generation and understanding of sales process.
  • Experience in the Agricultural, AgTech or Technology Industry is an advantage.
