The Institute of Molecular and Clinical Ophthalmology Basel (IOB) is seeking a highly motivated Assistant to support its Chief Operating Officer.

IOB is a research institute combining basic and clinical research. Its mission is to drive innovations in understanding vision and its diseases and develop new therapies for vision loss. It is a place where your expertise will be valued, your abilities challenged, and your knowledge expanded.

As Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of IOB, you will have administrative and operational responsibility. You will manage highly confidential information, a range of data systems and documents. You will support the COO in managing internal associates and coordinate interactions with external parties. A proactive, thoughtful, action-oriented approach is required, along with sensitivity to the moti-vations of others, and a strong sense of responsibility to IOB.
