Our new ETH Alumni Engagement team within the Office of the President is mandated with the conceptualisation, implementation and further development of the alumni work of ETH Zurich. Our goal is to establish and develop an attractive offer for ETH alumni, bring them closer to ETH, and activate a vibrant, global community. To engage and retain alumni members we are seeking a data-savvy and dynamic Membership Officer 50-80%.


Job description

Your responsibilities include managing our membership database, processing membership applications and renewals, and analysing membership figures. You maintain the membership database in collaboration with the provider of our members platform, process membership applications and renewals, clean up and keep the data up to date. Furthermore you help analyse and interpret membership data and translate figures into visuals. You are the platform “super user” and provide first level support internally and for members. In addition, you collaborate with the supplier of the platform on developments, new features, troubleshooting, etc. You are also the point of contact for members and consult them about their membership, benefits etc. The position is initially limited until December 2025 with an option to extend.


Your profile
  • You have a commercial or IT background and gained in-depth experience in databases and CRM systems – data is your bread and butter
  • You have worked in a similar position managing members/stakeholders/customers
  • You possess good organizational skills and have experience in project management
  • You are a service-orientated person and a team player
  • You have very good language skills in both English and German (oral and written)
