In the dynamic quantum matter laboratory of Prof Jotzu, we aim to create new types of materials that arise from the interaction of light and matter. For this we investigate and control how order forms in complex systems, on the time scale of less than a millionth of a millionth of a second. These materials promise applications for (quantum) computing, new types of sensing, and energy transfer and storage.
