Job description

We are looking for a postdoc in wireless communications with specialization in signal processing and transmission techniques for multiple-antenna communications. The primary purpose of the positions is own research in the area. However, the work also involves some project management and coordination within the EU-funded project that supports the position. In the project we will work together with several European universities and companies.

Qualifications

Requirements

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree. This eligibility requirement must be met no later than the time the employment decision is made.
• Demonstrated scientific excellence and outstanding academic track record.
• Strong background in wireless communications, signal processing and optimization techniques.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated excellent command of English orally and in writing as it is required in the day to day work.

Preferred qualifications

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree, obtained within the last three years prior to the application deadline
• Demonstrated collaboration skills are preferred.
• Demonstrated teaching skills and potential are preferred.
• Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues, with specific focus on gender equality, is preferred.

About the employment

The position offered is for, at the most, two years.

A position as a postdoctoral fellow is a time-limited qualified appointment focusing mainly on research, intended as a first career step after a dissertation.
