CONTRACT OBJECT:
Hiring an Research support technician in the SAI Structural Analysis Unit.
TASKS:
Qualitative and quantitative determinations in X-ray diffraction of polycrystalline samples.
• Measurement and structural determination in single crystal X-ray diffraction.
• Quantitative and semiquantitative determinations of the chemical composition in oxides and elements using Xray fluorescence spectrometry and X-ray microfluorescence
• Measurements of nitrogen physisorption in porous solids.
• Performing thermal analysis using thermogravimetry combined with mass spectrometry (EGA) at different pressures.
• Granulometric determinations of powdery solids by laser diffraction.
• Preparation of final reports and pre-reports for sending to users and researchers

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA (100 points):
• PhD. in Chemistry (5 points)
•Work experience with laboratory management systems (LIMS) (maximum 10 points. 0.2 points per month worked).
• Work Experience in managing and analyzing results with X-ray diffraction equipment (maximum 10 points. 0.2 points per month worked).
• Work Experience in managing and analyzing results with gas physisorption equipment (maximum 10 points. 0.2 points per month worked).
• Work Experience in managing and analyzing results in thermal analysis equipment (maximum 10 points. 0.2 points per month worked).
• Work Experience in the characterization of structural materials (MOF type), (maximum 5 points. 0.2 points per month worked)
•Work Experience in laboratories accredited and/or certified by quality standards (maximum 10 points. 0.2 points per month worked).
• Work Experience in managing specialized software (quantitative DRX), (maximum 5 points. 0.1 points per month worked).
• Work Experience in handling specialized software (single-crystal DRX), (maximum 5 points. 0.1 points per month worked).
• Work Experience in handling specialized software (N2 physisorption), (maximum 5 points. 0.1 points per month worked)
The work experience will be justified by presenting the contract and responsible declaration that accredits it.
•Personal Interview (25 points).
The personal interview will be carried out with to the 3 candidates with higher score and will only take place if it could have influence on the choice of the person selected Candidates who do not obtain a minimum of 40 points (not counting the personal interview) will be automatically discarded.
The job will be vacant if no candidate reaches the minimum score (40 points).
