Offer Description

Research line: Line 9 - Natural and synthetic polymeric materials for the manufacture of adsorbent materials for the recovery of scarce and valuable metals from electronic waste of the Specific Research Programme 'Condensed Matter and Functional Materials'.
Indefinite-term contract for scientific and technical activities, pursuant to article 23 is of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on science, technology and innovation.
Fabrication of activated carbons in different conditions Binary adsorption of metals from aqueous solutions. Activated carbons regeneration.

PhD or equivalent

Specific Requirements

PhD in chemical engineering or other comparable doctorate degrees: 30 points
Specific accredited training in adsorption of pollutants in porous materials.: 15 points
Accredited work experience in the use of atomic absorption spectroscopy equipment.: 10 points
Specific certified training in Solids characterization by different techniques, especially for measuring surface area and pore size using an ASAP adsorption analyzer: 20 points
Personal interview. The interview will be held only for the candidates with the highest scores who, in the sum of the rest of the merits, obtain a minimum of 50 points.: 25 points

Gross monthly salary: 1.104,5 € The special payments shall be prorated over 12 monthly instalments.
Duration of the contract: Indefinite
Workday    Workday    Part-time 50% (17.5 hours per week) 10:00-13:30 h.
