Offer Description

Functions to develop:

• Design, implementation and integration of software and hardware to ensure the development of the project.
• Administration, maintenance and updates of the base and management software of the corporate servers.
• Technical support, including storage management, systems scheduling, capacity planning, availability management, performance optimization, installation and maintenance of all systems software products.
• Database software installation, maintenance and monitoring services
• Resolution of incidents and problems related to projects.
• Definition and execution of appropriate operating routines to ensure proactive risk detection and correct capacity management and maintenance of the installed software baseline.

Requirements:

• University Degree/Graduate Degree (preferable in biosciences, biology, biotechnology)

• Experience in the healthcare sector.
• With experience in the management of systems and infrastructures: servers and server chassis, storage cabins, backup platforms. Knowledge of server virtualization with VMWARE platforms
• Knowledge of server and container virtualization: Dockers / Kubernetes
• Experience in programming and support for programmers
• Knowledge of databases: ElasticSearch, PostgresSQL and neo4j
• Knowledge of cloud-based architectures.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Ability to analyze the environment and initiative to generate proposals
• Ability to work in a team, commitment and proactivity
• Catalan, Spanish and English, spoken, read and written.

 

We offer:

The designated candidate will be bound by employment, through a contract of scientific and technical activities, in accordance with what is established in article 23-bis of law 17/2022, of September 5, which modifies Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology and Innovation, linked to supporting the projects currently developed in the A9G5 GIAMED research group. The dedication will be part-time (50%) and the working conditions in accordance with what is established in the current collective agreement applicable to the center.

 

Selection process:

The general conditions of this call will be governed by what is included in this announcement, and with the procedures that are contemplated on the basis of the type of call for the occupation of current places that can be consulted on the entity's website www.tauli.cat

In accordance with the current Selection and Engagement Code, candidates will undergo the following tests:

• Curricular assessment (merit assessment in accordance with the items in the section will be assessed and with the corresponding accreditations, except for internal experience that will be accredited ex officio) including the letter of motivation that accompanies the application.
• Personal interview (for professionals without internal experience) or managerial assessment.
• Psychotechnical test.

The competence tests that are considered necessary to assess the suitability of the candidatures may be added, within the framework of what is established in the current Selection and Linkage Code. In accordance with the principles of procedural economy and speed of the process, the phases of the selection process may also be reduced based on the ratio of candidates who meet the requirements of this offer.

In compliance with the LISMI, the Foundation will contemplate the reservation for candidates who prove a disability equal to or greater than 33%, provided that they are suitable for the development of the functions to be covered.
