Offer Description
Collaboration and supervision of general sampling and analysis of soils and forest vegetation; analysis of the biological properties of forest soils: microbial biomass, bacterial growth, enzymatic activities, fatty acid profile; analysis of forest, agricultural and food waste/by-products: heavy metals and emerging contaminants (antibiotics); Management of equipment for the determination of general parameters in the solid and liquid phases of soils and byproducts. Management of HPLC for the determination of antibiotics.
Barbanza EcoSocial Laboratory - BIODIVERSITY FOUNDATION 2023 (Forest Bioeconomy).
Project under the call for grants to support transformative projects for the promotion of the forest-based bioeconomy and the contribution to the ecological transition in the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan - Funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU for the financial year 2023.
The formalisation of the contract is subject to the existence of appropriations.
Contract for circumstances of production.
Collaboration and supervision in samplingof forest soils, vegetation and forest, agricultural and food by-products/waste. Collaboration and supervision of the determination of general parameters in previous samples. Determination of Al, heavy metals and emerging contaminants (antibiotics) in soils and byproducts/waste. Collaboration and supervision of the determination of the biological properties of soils: microbial biomass, enzymatic activities, fatty acid profile. Preparation of reports: introduction, material and methods, results and discussion, conclusion. Elaboration of tables and graphs, statistical treatment, writing of the report.

Degree or bachelor's degree in Biology, Environment or Forestry Engineering.: 15 points
Master in Environment and Natural Resources or in Forestry Engineering: 15 points
Accredited work experience in the field of soil microbiological properties (microbial biomass, bacterial growth, enzymatic activities, fatty acid profile).: 10 points
Publications in journals included in the JCR related to soil microbiological properties (microbial biomass, bacterial growth, enzymatic activities, fatty acid profile): 10 points
Participation in congresses related to the microbiological properties of soils (microbial biomass, bacterial growth, enzymatic activities, fatty acid profile): 5 points
Accredited work experience in R+D+i in the field of analysis and utilization of by-products/wastes, especially focused on heavy metals and emerging pollutants.: 10 points
Publications in journals included in the JCR related to the use of waste/by-products to retain heavy metals and emerging pollutants: 10 points
Participation in congresses related to the use of waste/by-products to retain heavy metals and emerging pollutants.: 5 points
Interview: The personal interview will be held only for the 2 candidates with the highest score, as long as they obtain a minimum of 50 points in the sum of the other merits: 20 points

Gross monthly salary: 2.219,74 € The special payments shall be prorated over 12 monthly instalments.
