THE ANDALUSIAN PUBLIC FOUNDATION FOR RESEARCH OF MALAGA IN BIOMEDICINE AND HEALTH (FIMABIS) NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: CARDIOLOGIST TO COLLABORATE IN PROJECTS AND MANAGEMENT OF THE RESEARCH GROUP

Principal Investigator: Dr. Juan Horacio Alonso Briales

Venue: IBIMA BIONAND Platform / Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.

Research Group: IBIMA A-03: heart failure and ischemic heart disease)

Project/Research Line  : Percutaneous Aortic Valve Implantation and Intervention in Structural Heart Disease.

Functions to develop:

Collaborate in clinical trials and research studies of the Hemodynamics unit:

• Inclusion of patients and controls in the follow-up protocol in the study database.
• Management of documentation related to clinical trials (initiation, preparation and periodic review of the material).  
• Assistance in monitoring visits and in monitoring the study with trial monitors. 

Minimum requirements :

• DEGREE IN MEDICINE AND SURGERY. VIA MIR SPECIALTY IN CARDIOLOGY.

Valuable Requirements :

Previous experience in cardiology. (0.5 points per year worked maximum 2 points) (certification by competent Body or Responsible Declaration).

Previous experience in Clinical Trials. (0.5 points per year worked maximum 2 points) (certification by competent Body or Responsible Declaration).

Research experience: (0.5 points per year worked maximum 2 point) (accreditation through certification or Responsible Declaration).

High level of English. (1 point min. B2)

Contract details :

• Contracting modality: Contracting modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities. (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011).
• Category: UCAI/Lab specialist technician. Manager
• Location: Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital. Hemodynamics Unit.
• Gross annual remuneration: €30,000
• Time: Full (35 hours)
• Estimated duration: 24 months. Linked to the duration of the project/activity/financing.

Selection process :

Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. . Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.

After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
