Offer Description

We are seeking to recruit a researcher for the development of the 3D Printing Ajo-Solid State Batteries for the Internet of Things Applications project of the WINE research group of the IN3 of the University.

The aim of our project is to develop a new generation of 3D printed batteries and integrate them into embedded devices for industrial environments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Embedded systems design
  • Characterization and testing of prototypes using specific laboratory equipment.
  • Test execution in a real environment
  • Participation in the group's analysis, reports and presentation of results.
  • Coordination with the project partners.
  • Publications and dissemination of results in scientific media. Participation in forums and conferences. 


The successful candidate will be awarded a full-time temporary contract of 19 months, starting in June 2024.

The reference headquarters will be located at 22@, Rbla. Del Poblenou, 156, in Barcelona. We work with an open work model that combines teleworking with onsite work, depending on organisational needs and the nature of the tasks.

What kind of profile are we looking for?

  • Engineering or telecommunications.
  • Experience of 4 years in internships and contingencies.
  • Design of machinery/programming for embedded systems.
  • Electrical power supply and battery management.
  • Basic concepts in IoT wireless networks.
  • Embedded programming and RTOS.
  • High communication skills, oral and written, in Spanish and English.
