Post-doctoral researcher
Conduct independent research related to urban and spatial dynamics of the population in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator in the elaboration of scientific articles related to the Cities In Movement project.
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator in the compilation and management of databases, as well as in the production and interpretation of results.
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator in the development of a web site where the main results of the research will be presented.
Collaborate with the Principal Investigator in the organization of the final seminar of the project.
Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)
Requirements:
Doctorate, preferably in the field of social sciences (Demography, Sociology, Geography)
Knowledge of some of varothe main tools for analysis and representation of socio-demographic data (Excel, SPSS, STATA, SAS, R, ArcGis).
Preferable:
Proven experience in research in the field of urban, territorial, demographic and social stratification studies.
Experience in the study of migration and residential mobility.
Experience using quantitative methods.
Scientific publications will be evaluated.
High English level
Dissemination of research, transfer of knowledge and connection with social policies (conferences, seminars, media, etc...) will be valued.

Selection process
An initial curricular step, followed by a round of interviews to the candidates with higher points.
