Job Description

To design, develop, and implement integration solutions that connect various systems, applications, and data sources within an organisation’s IT landscape. To ensure seamless and efficient data exchange, streamline business processes, and enable effective decision-making by integrating disparate systems into a unified and cohesive ecosystem. To stay up-to-date with the latest SAP Cloud Platform-Integration (CPI) features, enhancements and best practices.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and designing integration solutions using SAP CPI.
  • Building, configuring, and customising integration scenarios using SAP CPI tools and services.
  • Integrating various systems, applications, and data sources within the organisation’s IT landscape.
  • Developing mappings and transformations to ensure proper data exchange between systems.
  • Identifying and resolving integration errors and issues; and troubleshooting integration scenarios.
  • Conducting testing and validating integration scenarios to ensure its functionality and accuracy.
  • Creating technical documentation and reports on integration activities and project progress.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders throughout the integration process.
  • Providing training and support to end-users and stakeholders on SAP CPI integration capabilities.

 


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. Relevant certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Cloud Platform Integration is an advantage.
  • High level of expertise and hands-on experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) are essential. These include deep understanding of integration concepts, CPI architecture, integration flows, adapters, and data mapping.
  • Strong understanding of diverse integration patterns and best practices is extremely valuable.
  • Minimum 8 years of technical experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and other middleware technologies.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Groovy, or JavaScript is valuable. Familiarity with XML, JSON, XSLT, and other data formats is necessary for data transformation and mapping tasks. Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP) and message protocols (IDoc, FTP, SFTP).
  • Excellent understanding of SAP systems, modules, and data structures is advantageous. Experience in SAP ERP, CRM, Success Factors, S4 Hana, Concur, Ariba, or other SAP applications for seamless integration with SAP landscapes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and clients. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience working in a project environment, adhering to project timelines, and managing priorities is advantageous. Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies is beneficial for a successful project execution.
