• Perform thorough analysis of spending and partnership with stakeholders, and development of overall sourcing strategy/category management plan

• Coordinate within the procurement team for system related matters on optimization to achieve business goals

• Supplier Relationship Management: Pro-actively develops and manages key stakeholders and suppliers, develops relationships, establishes KPIs/SLAs and classification of vendors, performance tracking, and communicates feedback.

• Work collaboratively with suppliers and customers to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies.

• Conduct market research, analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, utilize emerging opportunities, and ensure appropriate goods/ services are being acquired at competitive prices.

• Execute procurement tender process including development and spearhead of tender roadmap to meet NTU deliverables.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma with 3 years of procurement experience

• Degree holders with minimal experience are welcome to apply

• Demonstrate project and time management skills and ability to deliver exceptional customer service

• Organized, meticulous with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work well with multiple competing priorities, manage projects and meet deadlines

• A good team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

• Proactive in pursuit of learning and are willing to put in the time and effort required to gain new skills and knowledge

• Knowledge of financial systems, e.g., SAP and Ariba is advantageous.

• Knowledge in supplier relationship management, market benchmarking criteria and procurement strategy development
