The Educational Partnership for Excellence (EPE) was established within the Education Division of the Dean’s Office, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine to drive engagement and relations management of the School’s internal and external stakeholders in the education mission. The EPE team works closely with key education leaders and partners to ensure educators, especially clinical educators who are in healthcare institutions all over Singapore, feel supported, appreciated and recognized for their contributions towards nurturing the future generations of doctors and healthcare professionals.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and be the key liaison for NUS Medicine’s engagement with the various healthcare institutions/clusters
  • Administer and be the key liaison for school level teaching awards
  • Support faculty appraisal and appointment matters
    • Setting of education KPIs and evaluating departments upon these education KPIs
    • Involvement in the annual appointment nomination exercise
  • Provide service quality to medical educators via the Educators’ Concierge
  • Take charge and perform secretariat duty for the various meetings the team is involved in as well as attending regular meetings with external stakeholders as a part of the role of key lead for engagement of external stakeholders
  • Fulfil other organizational requirements such as
    • Contribute and support other events and responsibilities which the team is in-charge of 
    • Provide cross administrative support for clinical examinations organized by the Curriculum Team, admissions exercise organized by Office for Students and any other events organized by Education division
    • Execute any other administrative duties that may be assigned 

Qualifications
  • Degree holder in Business Management/Administration or related fields, with ideally at least 3 years of work experience
  • Highly self-motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Resourceful, meticulous and creative individual who can adapt in a fast-moving high-pressure environment
  • Possess good organization, interpersonal and communication skills (in both verbal and writing) to handle stakeholders of various levels, displaying tact and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Work experience in the healthcare or education industry would be advantageous
  • IT savvy
