Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Senior Executive or Assistant Manager, Digital Marketing, for the Student Recruitment and Outreach team, to implement a comprehensive digital marketing and outreach strategy for international student recruitment in a graduate school.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a track record of successfully developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and lead acquisition. Relevant experience in the higher education sector would be a bonus.
Job Description
• Develop and implement annual digital marketing plans and campaigns for graduate student recruitment, in conjunction with colleagues from the Student Recruitment team, and the Thought Leadership and Strategic Communications team.
• Manage digital marketing campaigns across regions, utilizing a mix of channels and employing a range of methods, including but not limited to SEO, SEM, paid search, pay-per click, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and advertising.
• Monitor, measure and analyze campaigns to ensure they are meeting their objectives, and make adjustments as necessary to optimize campaign performance. Create and maintain campaign analytics to gather key insights and support the success of campaign strategies.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, targeting specific audience segments. Carry out segmentation of the database and implement remarketing strategies.
• Support enquiry management, lead conversion, and application-related team responsibilities. Use the Customer Relationship Management system to maximise online engagements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to create engaging and relevant digital content for various channels, including social media platforms to enhance brand presence and engagement.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all digital platforms.
• Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, digital marketing efforts and strategies.
• Prepare and present reports on digital marketing activities and campaign outcomes.
• Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Education: Degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Specialisation in digital marketing preferred.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, content development, business development, public affairs or a related field. Preferred: At least 2 years experience in digital marketing, with proven results in implementation and analysis of campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and analytics.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, collaboration and project management skills.
• Must be adaptable to change and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing, is essential.
• Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is preferred.
• Regional (and occasionally international) travel is expected. The candidate must be willing and able to travel for this role.
