The Centre for Behavioural and Implementation Science Interventions (BISI)  is a centre that aims to improve population health and well-being by accelerating evidence-based practice through the use of behavioural and implementation science. 

We seek a dynamic and forward-thinking, highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to influence and succeed within a complex and fast paced environment.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of our senior faculty as one of the lead administrators, in close collaboration with its stakeholders
  • Support senior faculty, manage their daily daily administrative functions and take a role in the team on overall project management and reporting functions.
  • Coordinate and administer functions such as secretariat, data management, stakeholder management, human resources, procurement, finance and contracts management
  • Assist in the maintenance of centre websites and other communication channels, including coordination with NUS
  • Manage and operationalise the running and execution of BISI’s outreach activities, locally, nationally and internationally
  • Work with senior faculty to effectively manage budgets, revenue streams and resources
  • Assist faculty with research ethics and operations
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work or as assigned by the centre leadership

Qualifications
  • A good degree in a science, economics, communications or any relevant discipline
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience 
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Working style that is inclusive, respectful and involved
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented
  • Ability to work flexibly and cooperatively in a team
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to lead on projects, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, without close supervision.
  • Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft applications like Word, TEAMS, Excel and Power-Point; and Zoom
  • Familiarity with NUS processes is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Research ethics is an advantage
