The TARIPH Centre for Respiratory Research Excellence is a national research platform that addresses respiratory health and disease in Singapore. It brings together interdisciplinary teams that share common interests, and acts as a platform for the exchange of ideas and development of sustainable relationships, providing an organisational framework for academic respiratory research. TARIPH Centre is currently expanding and presents an exciting opportunity for any aspiring or experienced research administrator.
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in managing the activities of the Centre, overseeing daily operations, and coordinating various activities for the TARIPH Patient Network. The job holder reports to Centre Manager and works closely with the academic co-leads of TARIPH Centre.
Duties & Responsibilities.
Monitor deadlines and assist the Centre Manager with administrative matters.
Carry out the day-to-day operations of the Centre, including but not limited to procurement, office management, task coordination, KPI monitoring and reporting, and events management.
Manage TARIPH email inbox and respond to emails.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
Organize regular and ad-hoc meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
Providing secretariat support to all meetings by preparing agendas, writing and distributing minutes and following-up on action items.
Develop communication and publicity materials including web page, biannual newsletters and ad hoc articles.
Communicate and engage with TARIPH patient partners for TARIPH patient network activities.
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s degree in biology, Science & Technology or equivalent
3 to 5 years of experience in academic administration with a proven track record of success.
Experience in the event management lifecycle preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Adobe/content design software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Team player, meticulous, resourceful and adaptable
