Job Description

The Faculty of Dentistry at the National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Assistant/Research Associate to support research activities in the development of novel antimicrobials and therapeutics.

Main duties and responsibilities 

  • Provide research support to the project and conduct experiments independently; 

  • Provide administrative support to maintain laboratory safety standards and housekeeping in accordance with prevailing standard operating procedures and policies. 


    • Qualifications

    (a) Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent;
    (b) Able to work independently and in a team with an investigative nature and attention to detail;
    (c) Excellent technical skills in cellular/molecular biology, including cell culture, qRT-PCR, immunofluorescence, bacterial culture, western blot, cloning, etc.
    (d) At least 2 years of relevant research experience

     

    Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
