Laboratory Technologist 3

Duties and Responsibilities 
Laboratory works (Design Lab):
•    Assist undergraduate students, MSc students, intern students, outreach students for their design projects including design and minor fabrication, procurement of various components as well as day to day activities. 
•    Manage and maintain 3D printers in the lab and conduct trainings for new users.
•    Performing other tasks/assignments assigned by laboratory supervisors.
•    Manage all asset under Design lab.
•    Documentations for safety certification audit and all safety issues in the lab. 
•    Laboratory works (Manufacturing Labs)
•    Operate and maintain CNC machines and all other equipment in the labs
•    Train students on using SEM and CNC machines they use for their projects
Procurement and Finance - Related:
•    Procurements of equipment and consumables.
•    Processing financial documents.
Safety Related
•    Ensure all laboratory users to follow all safety and health policies and procedures.
•    Provide documented safety certification and address lab associated safety issues.
•    Assist in all other safety related tasks needed in the labs

•    Minimum engineering diploma holder or equivalent with some knowledge with chemicals
•    Possess a pleasant disposition and positive working attitude
•    Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
•    Able to work under pressure with given deadlines
•    A good team player and able to work independently
•    Meticulous in work
