IT Consultant (Enterprise Applications)

Reporting directly to the Lead IT Consultant, the candidate is responsible to complete the assigned projects and tasks with minimum supervision

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all stages of software development, from gathering user requirements, concept, design, prototyping, coding, testing and implementation in .NET applications.
• Manage vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects by fulfilling all requirements and within budget.
• Manage in-house projects to ensure timely delivery of project by fulfilling all requirements.
• Works closely with end users to define requirements and implement solutions to meet the requirements.
• Management of entire ITQs and/or Tenders processes (including drafting of documents, evaluations and procurement).
• Maintenance of assigned existing web applications.
• Troubleshoot problems related to design, infrastructure or data. 
• Perform other tasks assigned by reporting officer.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of web application development experience (.NET Development).
• Proficient to program in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC 4/5, HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery, XML, system configuration, web services and have knowledge and experience in IIS Server, Visual Studio 2016/2019 and MS SQL Server T-SQL. Relevant experience in .NET Core, SharePoint, Qliksense Data Analytics and/or PHP/Drupal will be an advantage.
• Able to fulfil several project requests simultaneously while meeting the project deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to details and quality control.
• Possesses strong problem solving skills and are both resourceful and proactive in managing projects.
• Strong team player and able to work well with end users and partners.
• Able to think out of the box.
