You will be an integral part of the Academic Affairs team in the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine that works in close partnership with Departments in delivering HR services to the NUS academic community for the furtherance of the University’s vision of a leading global university shaping the future.

 

Specifically, you will:

  • Partner with academic leaders, function heads and reporting managers to offer expert HR guidance and insights
  • Manage end-to-end processes for staff appointments and re-appointments on the Research Track (> 850 staff) in order to meet the staffing needs of research projects
  • Assist with the performance appraisal of Research Assistants, Research Associates, Research Fellows, Senior Research Fellows and Research Assistant Professors ensuring the fair assessment, professional development, and appropriate recognition of their contributions
  • Manage and ensure compliance of staff programmes, processes and initiatives of the University such as consultation work policy, conflict of interest etc
  • Partner the Centre of Excellence (COE) in implementing strategic initiatives and changes on HR policies
  • Manage the daily operational tasks to ensure smooth operation of services delivered
  • Provide information on various types of employee report and offering analysis as needed.

Qualifications
  • An university degree in any discipline. 
  • At least 3 years of HR full spectrum experience
  • Knowledge about government policies pertaining to Work Pass and CPF matters etc.
  • Meticulous, responsible and well organised with ability to drive HR solutions
  • Resilient and able to work within a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Both a team player and independent worker
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English Language
  • Some knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors will be advantageous
