Executive/Senior Executive (Instructional/Media Design - 3 year contract, renewable)

The incumbent will support the Department of Statistics and Data Science's efforts to facilitate blended learning and other technology based teaching methods. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

• Propose best online learning approaches and solutions to lecturers.
• Collaborate with lecturers to design and produce eLearning content that will comprise videos, animation and other instructional technologies.
• Conceptualise, design, and develop engaging teaching materials with appropriate tasks, learning activities and assessments to meet intended learning objectives.
• Produce effective storyboards to convey idea to stakeholders.
• Support lecturers in the production of high quality teaching materials, in particular production of videos, from planning stage, to recording, to final editing.
• Perform functional testing of eLearning courseware to ensure it meets NUS academic quality.
• Manage and curate the department’s digital teaching materials repository.
• Monitor trends in online learning design, and evaluate relevance and usefulness of latest trends to current practices.
• Monitor trends in learning technologies that support online learning and online learning design.

• At least a good bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university.
• Good English proficiency.
• Some basic understanding of concepts from statistics and data science is desirable.
• IT savvy, proficient in video editing and MS Office applications, and openness to get acquainted with other software.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Energetic, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills to engage with lecturers.
• Strong team player, able to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
• Resilient, resourceful, possesses good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
