IT Specialist, Learning Solutions

Nanyang Technological University’s Centre for IT Services (CITS) is looking for an IT Analyst to support and enhance various applications in alignment with the goals of educating and training the next generation of thinkers, innovators, leaders and lifelong learners.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirement gathering and analysis to design learning applications

• Provide timely development support for existing and new learning applications on Java, Python, OutSystems, etc

• Manage software development lifecycle to develop, test and deploy functionalities and learning applications

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver desired results

• Facilitate the integration of solutions through various approaches such as APIs, etc

• Prepare technical documentation

• Research and onboard new technologies that enhance service delivery

Requirements

• Degree in software or computer engineering or a related discipline

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing, implementing and supporting IT solutions.

• Proven technical background with hands-on experience in application development using Java, Outsystems, etc.

• Familiarity with technical standards and integration approaches

• Proficient in software development life cycles

• Demonstrates good analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Proactive team player, able to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision.
