Executive, Financial Aid

The Executive, Financial Aid assesses student’s financial circumstances and offers the corresponding financial aid assistance. We are looking for candidate who is highly passionate in helping our students with their financial aid matters. The incumbent will provide financial counselling/recommendation of appropriate financial aid schemes based on students’ needs and follow through the application and offer processes to ensure the students receive the eligible assistance.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer financial aid activity including coordination with relevant offices on timeline and update through circulars.

  • Maintain and upkeep financial aid website.

  • Evaluate submitted supporting documents and prompt follow up on required documents.

  • Process applications and selection for financial aid scheme.

  • Coordinate applications and disbursement of various financial assistance options including Study Loan, Tuition Fee Loan and Student Loan.

  • Administer MOE Tuition Grant Agreement Signing.

  • Handle enquiries on financial schemes and bursary through emails and phone calls.

  • Provide financial counselling/recommendation of appropriate financial schemes via assessment of students’ need.

  • Coordinate donor bursary interviews, if required.

  • Assist in outreach activities e.g NTU Open House.

  • Update website information.

  • Other Ad Hoc tasks and projects assigned by manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in relevant discipline.

  • Preferably has at least 2 years of prior work experience, preferably in administration, finance, financial aid/bursary handling and customer facing environment.

  • Prior financial aid experience is good to have.

  • Customer-centric.

  • Good communications skill.

  • Meticulous, with demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and co-ordinate work volume to meet deadlines.

  • Strong team player.

  • Personable – able to carry him/herself well in face-to-face or tele-conversations with others.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.

  • Ability to suggest process improvement.

  • Accountable and proactive.
