Associate Director, Corporate Partnership

To play a critical and useful role in the Ecosystem Development - Business Development by connecting and matching corporates needs and pain-points with our community of startups, professors, researchers and students. The corporates are key actors in providing the strengths of their organisations to help our entrepreneurial communities to commercialise and scale quickly into their market presence around the world. The role requires an integrated approach of presenting NUS value to the corporate and therefore being able to develop collaborations arrangements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To work with strategic corporate partners in managing their business requirements , scoping of partnership, contract co-ordination (eg internal with OLA), negotiation, sponsorship of project including events (eg innovfest/kopi-chats @ B71), resources support (eg mentorship, POC, corporate venture, technology, market access, branding, internship).
• To continuously review with colleagues on new ways of creating corporate packages which embed value and enhance trust with different NUS stakeholders.
• Augment existing partnerships and grow the corporate partners locally and within Asean.
• Curate and establish new partnerships to complement with existing partnership in building meaningful clusters which will benefit NUS and our community.

• Bachelor degree in business, engineering, computing
• At least 8 years experience
• Demonstrate experience in innovation challenges
• Able to develop proposals for mutual benefits NUS and partners including pricing
• Maturity in dealing with C level executives
• Good communication skills
• Creative mind and willing to try new ideas
• Good business acumen
