Established in 1981, the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) https://www.ntu.edu.sg/eee is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Built on a culture of excellence, the School is renowned for its high academic standards and research. It is one of the largest EEE schools in the world, with more than 120 faculty members and an enrolment of more than 4,000, of which about 1,000 are graduate students.
We invite applications for the position of Assistant Manager, Student Administration. The incumbent shall support admission as well as student life initiatives and activities to enhance student’s learning experience for MSc programmes.
Responsibilities:
Admissions Management and support: Managing the admissions process, including receiving and reviewing applications, verifying documentation, and evaluating eligibility criteria.
Student Support: Providing ongoing support to current students, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and connecting them with appropriate resources and support services.
Student Orientation: Planning and organizing orientation programs to familiarize new students with the campus, facilities, academic policies, and support services available to them.
Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as academic affairs and student services, to ensure effective communication and support for students.
Reporting: Generating reports and providing data analysis related to admissions and student support activities.
Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree from a recognized Institute of Higher Learning.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in student life and support.
Possess strong communication skills and problem-solving skills with good time management.
Able to handle stress and passionate in assisting students.
Detail-oriented.
IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications (mainly word, excel, PowerPoint).
Data analytic skills and experience will be an advantage.
Possess a “can-do” attitude, ability to work fast and smart independently.
A team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively.
