IT Services are delighted to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic, engaged, and technically qualified individual to join our dynamic Enterprise Applications team as an Enterprise Applications Specialist focusing on our HR and Payroll platforms. This role is well suited to a forward-thinking individual with skills and experience in the management and support of a HR platform, who is seeking to progress their career in a busy and innovative workplace at one of the UK’s leading universities.

It is an exciting time for the University, IT Services, and Human Resources, with digital enhancement playing a major part in the shaping of University’s future. You will play a key role in embracing new technology, managing change, and delivering the University’s digital strategy in collaboration with HR.

You will hold a relevant IT or HR related degree or PG qualification (or equivalent experience) and will have the ability to support, develop, and enhance a number of systems including the central HR & Payroll system (ResourceLink WebView), HR Self-Service Portal (ResourceLink MyView), and BACS Submission (PTX) software. You will provide vital strategic digital guidance to HR and manage several relationships with third-party suppliers.

You will be located in and work closely with colleagues in the University’s IT Services, leading and collaborating with them on the delivery of critical digital enhancement projects. The HR systems are integrated with other University systems; you must maintain a broad overview of the HR systems architecture and facilitate integrations with other University systems. You will act as technical lead for the routine upgrades of HR systems, liaising closely with the data owner (Staff Records Data Manager, HR) and other key stakeholders.
