Offer Description

Position available within the research project entitled: PN-IV-P8-8.1-PRE-HE-ORG-2023-0133.

The technician will have the following responsibilities: to translate materials to ensure their use, understanding and dissemination; check the accuracy and validity of research data in databases, correcting and flagging any errors; prepare, manipulate and manage extensive databases; code data in preparation for computer input; perform data entry and other clerical activities as required for project completion; analyze data in specific analysis programs; participate in the collection of data needed to conduct research; interpret results obtained from statistical processing; carry out internet and library research; obtain informed consent from research subjects or their legal guardians; collect data for research; recruit and schedule research participants; screen potential subjects to determine their eligibility as study participants; monitor research participants and perform any necessary follow-up tasks; provide assistance in the preparation of project-related reports, manuscripts and presentations; prepare tables, graphs, fact sheets and written reports summarizing research results; track status of supplies and laboratory expenses, such as reimbursement of participants; maintain correspondence and assists in reviews necessary for the publication process of scientific articles; collaborate with other project specialists.
