    12 - Methods of selection and definition of their weights/evolution criteria:

    Evaluation and selection process:

    The mandatory selection method is the evaluation of the scientific and curricular path.

    • The use of selection methods is phased, as follows:

    a) Application, at the first moment, to all the admitted candidates, of the evaluation of the scientific and curricular path.

    b) Application of the second method, interview or presentation session or public demonstration, to part of the candidates approved in the previous method.

    • Valuation of selection methods

    1 — Each member of the jury evaluates the candidates' scientific and curricular path on a scale from 0 to 100 points, with valuation up to the hundredths, with the classification obtained through the weighting defined in the criteria to be evaluated.

    2 — The evaluation of the second selection method is expressed on a scale from 0 to 100 points, with valuation up to the hundredths.

    • Assessment of the scientific and curricular path obligatorily and optional interview with a maximum weighting of 10%.

    Evaluation criteria:

    The evaluation of the scientific and curricular path will be made by each member of the jury, on a scale of 0 to 100 points, valued to the hundredths, for each of the evaluation criteria:

    A - Curricular analysis (90%): In this criterion there will be an evaluation of the candidate merit and his preparation and capacity to accomplish the scientific research plan, based on his curriculum vitae and his motivation letter.

    B - Scientific production (10%): In this criterion, an assessment will be made of the relevance and quality of the scientific works published by the candidate.

    The final score of the evaluation of the scientific and curricular path (APCC), on a score of 0 – 100, will be obtained by the expression:

    APCC = 0.9 *A + 0.1*B

    The evaluation process may optionally include an interview, presentation session or public demonstration, to the 5 best positioned candidates in the previous method, whose evaluation is also expressed on a scale of 0 to 100 points, valued to the hundredths. In this case, the final classification (CF) will include a weighting of 10% for the interview component (E), as follows:

    CF = 0,9*APCC + 0,1*E

    Only candidates with a rating of 70 points or higher are eligible for hiring.

    13 - Evaluation Methodology

    13.1. After the admission of the applicants, and before starting the voting for their final ranking in the evaluation of their scientific and curricular background, each member of the Board presents a written document, to be attached to the meeting minutes, with the list of the applicants in descending order of merit, duly substantiated, considering the criteria and parameters of this tender notice.

    13.2. The seriation methodology is indicated in article 29º of the Regulation No. 487/2020.

    13.3. If an absolute majority of votes is not reached after the voting explained in the previous number, or in case of a tie, the Chair's vote will be used for the final ranking.
