    Contest Committee carries out the proceedings in accordance with Ordinance no. 106 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw dated 27.09.2019 (as amended), Monitor UW 2020, item 388, and the Rules of the Faculty of Polish Studies, University of Warsaw, attached to Ordinance no. 13 of the Rector of the University of Warsaw dated 22.01.2020 (Monitor UW 2019, item 42).

    The contest is the first stage of the procedure for the employment of academics (as defined in the Statute of the University of Warsaw), and its positive outcome is the basis for further proceedings.

    Candidates will be informed about the results of the contest by email.

    Skills/Qualifications

    The candidates have to conform to the conditions stated in art. 113, and art. 116, section 4 of the Higher Education and Science Act of 20 July 2018 as well as in par. 123, section 1 of the Statute of the University of Warsaw (Monitor UW 2019, item 190).

     

    Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in logopeadics.
    • Complementary education in logopeadics and as a vocal trainer.
    • Courses or specialist training in voice therapy and logopaedics therapy.
    • Experience, especially in academia, in conducting classes, courses or workshops on voice emission, confirmed by very good grades in student surveys.
    • Professional preparation to enable a holistic approach to people with voice disorders.
    • Willingness to conduct classes in the Polish language – both proprietary and included in syllabuses of the Faculty of Polish Studies of the University of Warsaw – especially on voice emission; continuously improve professional skills and competencies in teaching; tutor students.
    • Willingness to take organisational functions and responsibilities, especially those resulting from current needs of the Faculty of Polish Studies and the Institute of Applied Polish Studies and related to research or education conducted in the Faculty.
